We believe customers, regulators, and end users deserve a clear explanation of how AI is used in PreventNoShows. This document is that explanation. It supplements (and does not replace) our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
PreventNoShows does not currently use generative AI. Reminder messages are built from templates you control, filled in with your business name and the appointment details. If we add AI features, we will update this page first.
In plain English: PreventNoShows sends appointment reminders to your customers by text message and e-mail, usually the day before and about two hours before, with one-tap confirm and cancel links, and shows you who confirmed. Appointments can be added by hand or synced from a private calendar feed (such as Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud) or from Square Appointments. A business can also keep a waitlist and offer an open slot to the people on it; the first person to claim the slot through their private link gets it.
None today. PreventNoShows does not send your data to any AI model provider.

Where the Service offers an auto-send or auto-publish option, you can change that setting at any time in the dashboard. We default to human-in-the-loop wherever practical.
AI is fast and useful, but it is not perfect. Please be aware that AI Output may:
You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it, publishing it, or sending it to third parties.
Several jurisdictions require notice when an end user is interacting with AI rather than a human. We help you meet those obligations:
The customer (you) is the direct controller of how end users interact with the Service. You agree to keep these disclosures enabled where required by the law that applies to your end users, and you are responsible for any additional disclosures imposed by your industry or jurisdiction.
If an end user disputes an AI-generated decision, output, or message, you can route the appeal to a human reviewer through the Service. We can also receive appeals on your behalf at the address below; we will route them to you within one business day.
Appeals address: [email protected] (subject line: “AI appeal — PreventNoShows”).
The AI processes only the data needed to perform its function. We minimize input scope wherever possible and avoid sending unnecessary personal information to the model.
We may update this Disclosure as the Service, the law, or our providers change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
